The Internal Contamination Clinical Reference app serves as an educational and informational resource designed to support professionals involved in the assessment and management of internal contamination with radionuclides. It offers comprehensive data on various radionuclides and their corresponding medical countermeasures, incorporating biokinetic models to estimate urine concentrations based on standardized intake doses derived from hypothetical patient scenarios aligned with Clinical Decision Guides (CDGs).

Primarily intended for clinicians, health physicists, radiation safety officers, medical and public health laboratory scientists, and other stakeholders interested in internal radiological contamination and medical intervention strategies, the app presumes a foundational understanding of internal contamination concepts and dosimetry principles to facilitate effective utilization.

The application features include:

• Detailed reference information on specific radionuclides and associated medical countermeasures;
• The capability to perform assessments within simulated patient scenarios, generating projected urine concentration levels based on user-selected parameters;
• Options to save, modify, and share assessment data for documentation or further analysis.
